Description :
The drawing represents the main façade with the portal and the cupola of the Berlin City Palace (Berliner Stadtschloss). The paper has been cut on the left side and has a round hole above the top line. It probably used to be hang on a wall.
The palace was built to be the residence of the Hohenzollern dynasty. The oldest part date back to 1699-1706. The dynasty left the palace in 1918. The same year, the Freie Sozialistische Republik is proclaimed by Karl Liebknecht from one of the balconies of the building.
During the second war, the palace is seriously damaged and in 1950 it is decided to destroy this Prussian symbol. The portal is the first part to be demolished. It is now integrated on the façade of the State Council of East Germany.
In 2002 it is decided to re-build the palace as it was before its destruction. The work started in 2013 and the inauguration is planned in 2019.

Wie beschrieben, schnelle Lieferung, gerne wieder
super Abwicklung, wirklich beste Adresse!!!
Hello, Everything was just fine! Thank you! But I have not received any payment instructions. Kind regards, Tore Lindstad
