Obverse

Die 1 from model 1879 - left pearl in diadem smaller than others, thin script to LIBERTAS, "R" in LIBERTAS with long right leg.

Die 2 - left pearl in diadem same size as others, thick script to LIBERTAS, "R" in LIBERTAS with short right leg.


Reverse

Die A from model 1879 - numeral "1" thicker, midribs in oak leaves made by fine well defined lines.

Die B - numeral "1" thinner, midribs made by shallow lines.

Die C - reengraved, numeral "1" thinner, acorns with grids, midribs made by wide well defined lines.
