Interesting coin of George VI for Jersey in nice condition struck in London. Uncommon style of face value: not just a penny,' but '1/12...' written in words! This emission was the last of the penny in pre-decimal history of the States. The Great Britain policy was very strict with respect to choice of metal for islands coinage. As the result this denomination became the largest in circulation.
