Interesting and rare issue of the 2003 complete set of circulation coins in superb condition in original folder. The 2 pound coin depicts wolf Fenrir swallowing Odin, the main god of solar origin in pagan beliefs during the Battel of Ragnarok. It is the literal depiction of total solar eclipse. Simultaneously a serpent under the legs of a left figure indicates the solar nature of the figure, the pattern which became base of Christianity. Again the left figure and the serpent represent the description of total solar eclipse. thus on one coin there are two simultaneous descriptions of total solar eclipses.
